Personal guidance with the insurers

A long-term care claim should not be handled alone

Pele Yoetz helps families across Israel check entitlement, prepare the documents and deal with the insurance company — clearly, personally and in order. The office is in Ashkelon and the service also runs remotely.

When is it worth checking?

When a functional condition meets a complicated policy

A medical diagnosis is only part of the picture. A long-term care claim also examines actual functioning, the need for help or supervision, and the terms of the specific policy.

01

Difficulty with daily activities

Bathing, dressing, mobility, eating, or a need for regular help.

02

Cognitive decline

Confusion, difficulty finding one's bearings, or a need for supervision to stay safe.

03

An unclear policy

Not sure what cover exists, what its terms are, or what has to be attached.

04

A refusal or a request for documents

A letter arrived from the insurer and it is not clear how to respond.

An initial check, with no commitment

Not sure whether checking entitlement is worth it?

Answer five short questions about functioning, supervision and the policy. At the end you get an initial summary, and we can come back to you with a clearer picture.

Focused services

Support for the stage you are at

Not every family needs the same thing. You choose the starting point that matches your situation.

A process you can follow

Putting it in order, step by step

The aim is to turn a process crowded with documents and terminology into a clear route you can move along with confidence.

What the support looks like
  1. 1

    A first conversation

We hear what is happening at home and what has already been done. No documents needed.

  2. 2

    Finding the cover

We establish which policies exist, who administers them and what definition applies.

  3. 3

    Building the file

We organise the documents and put the functioning into the language the policy actually asks about.

  4. 4

    Filing and following up

We keep track of deadlines, requests for further documents and the decision when it arrives.

How we work

Professionalism starts with being clear

We do not promise an outcome and we do not pile on information you do not need. We do commit to explaining, documenting and keeping you informed.

Check before acting

We read the policy and the documents before deciding on the next step.

An orderly file

We gather what is relevant and cut down gaps and contradictions.

Human support

We talk to the family plainly and at a pace that suits the situation.

Frequently asked questions

Questions families ask at the start

Do you work in English?

Yes. The whole process — the first call, the document list, the follow-up — can be handled in English. The forms themselves are in Hebrew and we work through them with you.

Do we have to come to your office?

No. Our office is in Ashkelon, but almost all of the work is done by phone and WhatsApp. Families across Israel work with us remotely.

How do we know whether a policy even exists?

Start with Har HaBituach, the official insurance registry run by the Capital Market, Insurance and Savings Authority, and check old paperwork and standing orders on bank statements. It is not unusual to find more than one policy.

Can I handle my parent's claim if I live abroad?

Often yes, subject to the authorisation documents each insurer requires — a signed consent, an enduring power of attorney, or a guardianship order. It is worth sorting this out early, because it is the step that most often stalls a claim.

Is it too late if this started years ago?

Not necessarily, but do not delay the check. Timing affects both the period a benefit may be examined for and the question of prescription, which is a legal issue that depends on the circumstances.
