Your address does not affect the claim
Families sometimes assume they need someone local. In long-term care claims that is rarely true. The insurer reads a file, not a postcode, and the questions it asks — which policy is in force, what the definition requires, what the documentation shows — are identical in Kiryat Shmona and in Beersheba.
What does vary by area is practical: which hospital discharged the insured person, which health fund branch holds the records, how far the family lives from each other. Those affect logistics, not entitlement.
How the process runs remotely
The first conversation is by phone. Documents are shared through a channel we agree with you — never sensitive medical documents through the contact form on this site.
Where a functional assessment is arranged, it takes place at the insured person's home or institution wherever that is, by the insurer's own assessor. Our part is helping the family prepare for it, which happens by phone.
Family members in different cities, or in another country, can all take part in the same conversation. In practice that is common, and it is often easier than trying to get everyone into one room.
The office
Pele Yoetz has one business address: 1 Nahal St., Hutzot Mall, Ashkelon. We do not present branches in cities where we have no office.
You are welcome to come to the office if that suits you. Most of the process runs by phone and WhatsApp regardless, simply because that is more workable for most families.
This page is an English translation of our Hebrew content, written for English speakers living in Israel. Official Israeli terms appear with their Hebrew names so you can recognise them on forms. In any discrepancy, the Hebrew version and the official documents prevail.
